I'm Lisa Strassegger – a passionate lighting enthusiast, creative mind, and specialist for custom lighting solutions. Lighty Life is my space to explore and share the endless possibilities of light – its impact, applications, and the exciting developments in the industry. Especially here in Portugal, I want to give visibility to inspiring projects, people, and ideas – and connect with clients who are looking for exactly that.
What I Do
- I work independently as a lighting designer, using tools like DIALux to bring lighting concepts to life with both creativity and precision.
- I'm the sales representative in Portugal for 2F Leuchtenan Austrian manufacturer known for tailor-made luminaires. Together, we realize unique and ambitious lighting projects across the country – from family run hotels to architectural highlights.
- This platform is where I gather and share knowledge, creative insights, and the beauty of well-designed lighting – to inspire, inform, and connect.

My Background
I studied Design & Product Management in Salzburg, Austria, and started my professional journey as a lighting designer for 2F. A few years ago, I followed the sun – and my heart – and moved to Portugal, where I’m now based in the beautiful coastal city of Setúbal. I’ve found light here not only in the sky but also in the warmth of the people and the inspiring creative energy all around me.
The Birth of Lighty Life
The idea for this blog came to me in a small café while I was painting. I wanted to capture everything I love – design, light, storytelling, inspiration – in one place.
